Hi Everyone,
This month a massive rally is set on the 12th of August to stage the National Day of Action to grant equal rights for same sex couples.
As a Celebrant, I have a great interest on this to push the government and the coalition to get their act together and show liberalism towards this archaic law we have on banning same sex marriage.
Who gives a hoot as to what your sexuality is... marriage and love shows no discrimination...
What we need is more open minded politicians....compassionate pollies...
can there be such a thing?
Come and support us on the 12th of August.
Rally starts at 1:00.

Commitments, Same Sex Celebrations, Gay Weddings

Call this union whatever you like, the symbolism is still the same. A personal commitment of your love for your partner.
Would you like to publicly express your love and commitment in front of family and friends but can not legally do so?Why not hold a Commitment Ceremony, or a “Wedding”?Let me help celebrate this day with you, either privately in a small ceremony or just have a big party.
Even though, you can’t marry because it is illegal (due to our archaic law), there is no law that says you can’t publicly declare your love for each other and celebrate…..
Your “wedding” ceremony is entirely personal and may include readings, exchanging of rings and vows.A beautiful certificate will be given to you on this memorable day and a copy of the ceremony as well.
